Armistice Commemoration

Today we had a special guest from the New Zealand Defense Force. To show our appreciation for all those who have passed for our country each class signed their names or wrote a message on a back of the poppy as well as the teachers. We sang songs and had one minute of silence to think about the soldiers. Armistice day is a really important day for most of all countries. Each class have also researched and learnt about the WWI. The special guest had come to my class and LS1 to talk to us about his journey throughout his journey.

  1. Hey Savelina,
It is good to know that your school celebrates the end of World War 1. It is cool how it ended in the 11 month, 11 day and the 11 hour. In Greymouth, we put up a cross up for every soldier that fought from around the area.

    Blog ya later
    Jess:)
