Ireland/Irish solstice celebration.

Me and Magenta learnt a lot about the Ireland and Irish solstice celebration. Irish was a really interesting country because I didn't know anything about Irish and how they celebrate Christmas. I find it interesting that the Irish celebration is similar to the Western country's.

Matariki

For Matariki I answered questions about the seven sisters of Matariki. These questions were hard to find but Magenta and I manged to finish this DLO about the legend of the seven sisters. I also learnt how to reference my DLO.

PBS Black out day.

Today we had PBS black out day because we wanted to wish the All blacks best luck for their match with the Lions on Saturday. We also spelled All blacks by spray painting the letters on the filed then the teachers also put numbers on our hands 1 to 9. Meaning if you had 1 you go to the letter A, and if you got 2 you go to the second letter L. We all worked together to find where we had to go. Mr Wong flew the PBS drone high to the sky so he could capture us. PBS sang Tutira Mai and the boys from Kapa Haka performed a powerful Haka. AJ had done an amazing job by leading the Haka, everyone had goose bumps. After all of this we made square around the basketball court and played a Rugby challenge where you have to keep passing a rugby ball and see how far you get the longest wins. This is an important game, and I can't wait to see the two teams playing with each other.

Intro to Digitech

Today I made this DLO so the Community in Tamaki can be more healthy then ever before. These are some Ideas I came up with. I feel like this will really help Tamaki and the Community.

I also made a Animated story about two friends Abby and Devin. I made this animated story on A website called scratch. I did this with a partner, Shakaia. I wish I could show you but I could not embed the link.

Movie evaluation.

Mrs Anderson filmed this video so we could see what we had to work on in our dance. This really helped my group because we wanted to make our dance perfect. After seeing this video my group had to make sure that we face the audience and make sure our moves more sharp.

Biodegrade chart

This graph was made to show people how long it takes for rubbish to Biodegrade. Rubbish takes longer to Biodegrade then people think. I found a lot of information by finishing this task.

Dance group B.

When I did dance I had to team up with another group so that other group can film my group and we could film there group. We had to film to see what we needed work on. For my group we had to make our moves more sharp by making more moves and making sure our music is in beat with our actions.

Food waste poster.

I have done this poster to show supermarkets that they should donate food to charitys. I have also done this poster so there is less food waste in Auckland. I have been learning how to keep my family waste free as well. I hope you and your family is trying to keep food waste free as well.

Read theory

 Read theory is a website that I use a lot. On read theory I read a story I read waiting for me then answer questions about the story. If I get a perfect score then I will read difficult story's. I learnt a lot of different words that I haven't seen before.

Storm in a tea cup poetry.

When reading this poetry I learnt about metaphor. I learnt what was a metaphor and how to find some in poetry's. 

Dance

In dance we first did warm ups to stretch our muscles. Then we did mirror dancing with our partner. I learnt how to do some shapes connecting to my partner. I also learnt that when you mirror dance you have to pick the right song that sicks with our music.

Haiku poetry.

How Maui brought fire to the world.

We were learning about this story and we made a Haiku poem. We had to make sure the first sentence had five beats to the words. Seven beats for the second sentence and five for the last sentence. We put this Haiku poem in order of the story.

Samoan kilikiti.

I did this DLO with my partner Viva we made a DLO about the Samoan way of playing cricket. I learnt a lot about this Samoan sport after making this DLO I hope you did to.
