Cook Island Language Week
This was another task that we focused on since it is Cook Island language week. My class got into groups and finished this task. In my group is Jericho, Dallas, Josh and Chris we all worked collaboratively to research this information and to find some photos. We all have learnt a lot about the Cook Islands. Our class has done this task to show our respect as there is a lot of mixed cultures in Auckland and New Zealand and one of those cultures is Cook Island.

Fire Fighter - DLO
Fire safety is important to our community. Our topic for inquiry is the community so to help us we went to the fire station in Panmure. This helped us to understand what the fire station does to help our community.

TaeKwondo
TaeKwondo was a really fun sport to learn about. It was a great activity I got to work with others and try to work moves out together. I love doing this and I had a really amazing coach called Steave. I am really sad that we will not be doing this again.
7 or 9 or more stars?
everyone has been asking how many stars are there? This was on TVNZ some people are saying it is true some are saying no but some are not sure. I found a lot of information about the Matariki stars.

Kokako infographic.
This is my infographic about the Kokako bird. I learnt a lot of interesting facts that I did'nt know about the Kokako bird. One interesting fact that I learnt was that they often eat buds, nectar and invertebrates. I learnt about this bird because the camp that my class went to was named after this bird.
