The Tunnel - 5,7,10 Writing
The Tunnel
The emerald looking trees were so tall I couldn't see where the leaves were falling from. I could hear the birds tweeting as if they were singing to me. They sound so close yet I still felt like they were so far. The circles of branches showed the right track but I felt like I was going the wrong way. The leaves kept falling like rain, it was surrounding me everywhere I went. It was almost like the forest was going crazy; like the forest was going to flood with leaves. While I was walking further into the tunnel the hard dirt turned into squishy wet mud. I saw a glimmer of a bright light, so bright it just looked like a white spot. It was right at the end of the tunnel it made the tunnel look like something out of a movie, book, or even a dream. Walking closer and closer the trees were closing in as if it was a trap. All of a sudden I heard the birds chirping and everything quickly came back to life. “Will I ever survive?” I said whispering to myself.
Today for Writing our task was to do 5,7,10 writing using this picture. In this piece of writing we are now learning how to write a setting description I could use the skills that I learnt to make this writing better.

Character Description - Alice is a Wonder
Alice is a Wonder
Alice is a little girl, she is the smartest six year old i’ve ever met. Even though Alice is very good at all subjects well who am I kidding she’s better than me. In addition her most favorite subject is reading. She is always surrounded by books and her room is filled with books. She would stay up until midnight reading books. She dresses up with light and bright clothes. Alice always wonders what's her future is going to bring her. It’s her dream to become a prime minister. Alice has no friends, yet she thinks the best way to become prime minister is to only focus on herself. She is not like other young girls. As other young girls they would love to play outside and play princesses but Alice is nothing like that. Every teacher that teaches Alice thinks she's a robot that’s how smart she is. She would stay up until midnight reading books.
For today's writing task my group are writing a Character Description. By writing this Character Description it will help me to get used to writing simple, compound and complex sentences in any of my writing. With this task we are doing 5,7,10 writing. Someone in our group was to time 5 minutes of my group writing as fast as possible. As that 5 minutes has finish that person times 7 minutes of us talking to a partner about our writing. Last the 10 minutes in the 10 minutes we can finish off our writing and DRAFT our work.

Character Description
Lost Yet Found
Noah walked as far as he possibly can into the bushes his clothes were still bright and clean. He faced some challenges but he wasn't scared a bit he can overcome any fear he has. Noah is really confident and determined to get out of the forest. As Noah was walking he was scanning his map. Luckily he remembered his techniques from when he was in the scout he had earn all his badges, even though some of them require really dangerous obstacles. Noah is the kind of teenage boy who is wild and adventurous.
In Writing I have learnt how to write a character description. I have also learnt how to add a simple, compound and complex sentences in my writing to make it more interesting.
